Melissa Bordelon, IOM, President and CEO
Melissa "Missy" Bordelon has served as our Greater Hammond Chamber of Commerce President and CEO since 2015 and holds Institute for Organizational Management certification with the US Chamber of Commerce. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Louisiana Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (LACCE) and is the marketing committee chairman for the Hammond Northshore Regional Airshow.
She holds a B.A. in communications from Southeastern Louisiana University and a M.B.A. from Mississippi State University.
Her past positions include Director of Programs and Events, as well as Membership and Events Coordinator with St. Tammany West Chamber, Annual Fund Director for Southeastern Louisiana University, Public Relations Partner with Bridges Communication Services, and Director of Southeastern's Lionette Dance Team.
Melissa is a graduate of both Leadership Tangipahoa and Leadership St. Tammany. She is a former member of the Board of Directors for the Southeastern Alumni Association, Tangipahoa Area United Way, and Leadership St. Tammany Board of Trustees. She is a founding member of the Lionette Alumni Chapter having also served as their President. Melissa is also a proud member of the original New Orleans "Saintsations."
She and her husband Nic live in Hammond and have three college-aged children - Kelsey, a recent Louisiana State University grad, and Bryce, a Senior, and Karley, a Junior, at Southeastern Louisiana University.
Megan Mosher, Director of Marketing and Communications
A native of Loranger, Megan graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University with her bachelor’s in mass communication in 2010. After working for two years as a reporter at the Hammond Daily Star, she returned to Southeastern as a graduate assistant, where she earned her master’s degree in organizational communication. Megan is not only passionate about her writing, but also about using her writing skills to explore, grow and promote the greater Hammond area and its businesses.
Amy Brumfield, Administrative Support Specialist
Amy is a graduate of Hammond High School and Southeastern Louisiana University. She lives in Hammond with her husband and three children. Amy is very passionate about the vitality of the Hammond community - from eduation to recreation. She has worked for local businesses, state agencies, private corporations and non-profits. She is proud to bring her knowledge and skills to the Greater Hammond Chamber of Commerce. Amy is a graduate of the Leadership Tangipahoa Class of 2017.
