Hammond Square

Scheduled for partial completion as early as fall of 2008, Hammond Square gives Hammond another edge on shopping. In March 2007, owners Palace Properties L.L.C. and Stirling Properties began tearing down the old mall to make room for a new, open-air shopping Center. When the square is opened, it will be nearly 100 acres and have more than 850,000 square feet of shopping.

The new shopping center will be the premier center for shopping on the Northshore. Anchored by Dillard’s, Sears and AMC Theatre, the plaza will also feature a Target, Home Depot and JCPenney along with hundreds of other shops.

With 850,000 square feet, a strategic location at the intersection of I-55 and I-12 on US Highway 51, and tree-lined avenues for shopping in world-class stores, Hammond Square puts Hammond on the edge of the best shopping around.

West Thomas, Morrison, and University Shopping Corridors

Every great city needs a great place to shop. And Hammond offers more than just one. From downtown shops to world-class shopping centers, Hammond has it all.
