Government Affairs
The Governmental Affairs Committee focuses on the big picture when it comes to Louisiana politics and notifies the Chamber Board when a specific position needs to be taken. This committee monitors business-related legislation at the federal, state, and local levels and measures its possible effects on the business community. This committee also offers members opportunities to meet with elected officials who are often guest speakers at meetings.
